Collection of 30 P&W Collets for Lathe Used Hardinge 5PN

You are looking at a collection of 30 used P&W and Hardinge Collets for a lathe. Please note that these are not a complete set. Most of these collets are P&W, Pratt and Whitney.

There are some that are Hardinge, 5PN. They appear to be the same type of collet. Some of them have the stamped decimal size, the P&W Collets. These have the threads on the ends as well, they do have some wear on them, they will need cleaned up with a file.

I have not tested any of these items as to their accuracy. I do know that the 3/16 P&W collet has been ground on the O. And taper, it will most likely need to be replaced. It has a taper in it and a key down inside to keep the collet from turning.

I do not have a drawbar or any other attachments for these collets. The outside diameter of the collets including the threads is approximately 1.311. The approximate diameter of the head of the collet is 1-5/8. The overall length of the P&W collets is approximately 3-1/2. The 5PN Collets overall length is approximately 3.550.

Some of the threads do have some burrs on them where they might have been damaged, they will need to be filed and cleaned up. Be sure to ask questions before purchasing. Even though these have some wear, they are still in usable condition.
