Custom built Sherline Lathe Mill ER25 ABEC5 C5 Headstock with Oversized Large Capacity 1/2 Through-hole Spindle + 27 pcs! Full Metric and Imperial SAE Inch Collet Sets, ER25 collet nut, and collet nut wrench. Standard Sherline quick change locking keyway style mount. Fits the Sherline 1066 1/2" or 1065 5/8" ER adapter for use with standard 3/4-16 Threaded Chucks and tooling.

Has greater capacity as Sherline's 3C collet system with much better collet availability and economics. 0005 runout on spindle grind as pictured. End use runout depends on collet fitment. ER25 Collet system uses standard ER25 collets with a ER25 collet nut.

Includes an ER25 Collet wrench. Made from a never used Sherline headstock casing (excellent condition as pictured) that has been tested and built using new conversion components including precision shims and ABEC5 ZZ metal shield sealed bearings.

Spindle has a medium preload with no end play and custom 2 groove pulley installed. This is of the very last builds I have left: coupled with pricer hard to find components of acceptable quality it takes too much time and energy to custom machine, build, grind, measure, and rework these to be economically sustainable. Sadly, I don't think anyone else currently makes Sherline ER conversions anyone. Installed using precise jigs, freezing, heating, and an arbor press methods to ensure a better build.
