South Bend Heavy 10L 5C collet set up unit code HW102. Includes the draw tube, spindle adapter with proprietary South Bend taper, 2 1/4-8 thread protector and brass spanner wrench to remove the thread protector. Draw tube is 11 1/2 to the shoulder and works perfectly with the threaded spindle model Heavy 10 lathe. The end stop that the handle attaches to has been replaced and attached to the tube with two tapered pins. The thrust bearing is in place, smooth and works well.

The handle has some defects but is solid and functional. The threads are in good condition and works as required. The threaded end appears to have been replaced at some point, but the work was done very well.

Spindle adapter has the proper proprietary taper and seats tightly with minimal runout. The collet key is in place and functional.

The thread protector is used but functional and ejects the spindle adapter as required. The spanner wrench shows obvious signs of use but fits the thread protector and functions properly.
